When the Palin announcement first dropped, I was amused but didn’t think too much of it. Since I’m not in a battleground state, I’ll probably be voting Libertarian. But, one thing that did strike me was the curious clash between the wing of Christians that believes that women cannot be in authority over men and that same group’s obvious opposition to anyone in the pro-choice camp.
Doug Pagitt had the same thought in an editorial written for the PBS Religion and Ethics blog. It’s worth reading.
